Robyn Rihanna Fenty also referred to as Rihanna by Barbadians, is a singer/songwriter. Her hits are Pon de Replay, SOS Umbrella and Take a Bow. A very successful artist still in her prime young age, she's sold over the sum of 41 million album and over 150 million tracks worldwide becoming one of the top-selling performers ever. Born in Barbados, she grew up to love reggae and started singing as a child. Disturbed by their chaotic home life as well as endless arguments with her parents she immersed her self in music. She soon realized she wished to become a professional singer. In high school, she formed a music group, and was asked to perform to be a part of Evan Rodgers. The producer was very impressed with the talent of this teenager. The girl relocated into New York to start a professional singing career full-time. The debut album of Rihanna quickly was a huge success and was described as a music sensation. She was a favorite amongst the youth for her peppy and foot-tapping songs. This led to Rihanna becoming a director. A talented young woman Rihanna is regarded as an aspiring teenage star. Rihanna also puts her fame for good and has been active in many charities.
