LeBron Raymone James Sr. is an American basketball professional that plays for the Los Angeles Lakers in the National Basketball Association. King James is widely regarded as one of basketball's best players. He is often called Michael Jordan when discussing the most famous basketball player. James has been the recipient of four NBA Championships, 4 NBA MVP Awards, four NBA Finals MVP Awards and three All-Star MVP Awards. He has also won 2 Olympic gold medals. James is the NBA All-Star who has the most points in playoffs, with the second most points in his career total, and seventh-highest all-time assist record. He has been selected an NBA All-Star 18 times to the All-NBA Team a record 18 times, and was named for The NBA All-Defensive First Team five times. James has been a part of 10 NBA Finals the third most of all time, with eight games in succession between the years of 2011 and 2018. James has been selected to the NBA 75th Anniversary Team in 2021. In 2022, he was one of the few NBA player to earn 10,000 points in his career. James was an athlete at St. Vincent-St. Mary High School, located in Akron Ohio. He received lots of attention from the media about his potential NBA success. A prep-to-pro, he was selected by Cleveland Cavaliers with the first overall selection in the 2003 NBA draft. In 2004, he was named the NBA Rookie of the Year, he soon established himself as one of the best league athletes, winning an NBA MVP award twice in 2009 and 2010. James, who did not achieve the Cleveland championship in 2010, left as free agents and signed with his team the Miami Heat. This was made clear within The Decision. It is one of the most controversial choices made by a sports player who was a free agent.
